If you make use of connections to e.g. Magento, OXID or Shopware you can measure the conversions directly through the respective interface with the connect link extension. A list of our plugins which have this feature you will find at the end of this article.
To measure the conversion through a connection to an external platform you only need to activate the [Connect link extension] within your emails. Check the box within your email settings. This extension can also be used to transfer data on orders via the API.

In our Newsletter Editor you can find the setting option under [Campaign Settings - Advanced]:
This functionality automatically transfers data as a link parameter which is then processed directly through the connection. This parameter contains the email-ID, user-ID and link-ID of the respective recipient. These parameters enable the measurement of the conversion. Please note that once you activate connect link extension you can no longer use Google Analytics tracking.
How do I analyze data in CleverReach?
If an order was recorded through tracking you will find the data in the report for a campaign and in the respective recipient group. The report section will give you a cumulative view of the data. All conversion data can be found in the report overview.
You can also see all conversions directly in the recipients’ profiles. Please be so kind and open a recipient profile and click on [Purchase information].
The connection to other systems also transfers order information (e.g. product title, article number), which can later be used to segment e.g. users that have purchased a specific product. You can also use the connect link extension to transfer data independently via the API. You will find information on the API here.
