First steps with CleverReach

Hello and welcome to CleverReach!

In this CleverReach guide, we'll show you how to get started with our newsletter tool.

  1. First login and onboarding

    With our onboarding, you can use your first login with the help of four short questions to complete your data, which makes it easier for you to get started easier for you to get started with our tool.
    You can specify your experience level and receive customized content on your dashboard.
  2. Complete your account data

    1. Click on the profile icon at the top right > My account.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Click on My data.
    4. Enter your details there. Your details will help us to verify your account more quickly. For further information read our article Updating user information in your account.  
  3. Check your legal notice

    In order to be allowed to send emails to your recipients, you need a complete legal notice.

    1. Click on the Profile icon at the top right > My account.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Click on Email imprint and add your imprint. In our article Legal information in your emails read which information must be clearly visible in every email.
  4. Add your contacts to a recipient list

    1. Do you already have recipient data that you would like to use with us? Simply upload your CSV file to us to get started quickly.

    2. You can find information on the approval process directly at Check your recipient lists after import.
    3. To acquire new recipients, it is best to use a CleverReach form. You can also integrate this on your own website.

  5. Create your first email with CleverReach

    1. Launch your campaigns in no time with our comprehensive selection of professional templates. Benefit from a user-friendly interface and our powerful newsletter editor powerful newsletter editor that helps you to create appealing and successful email campaigns.

  6. Book a suitable plan

    Under the profile icon at the top right > Plans & Pricing you will find our plans.

  7. Save time with your first email automation

    Our automation center THEA enables you to build automation chains. You can find detailed instructions and a video in the article Automation THEA: The extended workflow.

  8. Connect your CRM, CMS or store system

    1. We offer integrations to the most common CRM, CMS and store systems. In our Integration directory you will find an overview. 
    2. Helpful instructions for connecting the respective interface with CleverReach can be found in the help center area Integrations.
  9. Improvement of the deliverability

    1. Significantly improve your deliverability. The most important articles for improving deliverability can be found at Optimizing the deliverability of your CleverReach mailings.
    2. Only if you implement these measures can we achieve a high delivery rate of opt-in emails and emails. Further helpful articles on the topic:

  10. Reports & analyses of your sent mailings

    With CleverReach, you receive a report for every mailing sent, that gives you an overview of the open rate, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes.  

    Use these analyses to make your mailings even more effective.
