Activating and deactivating functions for your subaccounts

Would you like to offer your subaccounts more flexibility when creating newsletters?
In this article, you will learn how to activate or deactivate various features for your subaccounts:

Activate/deactivate editor settings

  1. Log in with your CleverReach agency account.

  2. Click on Agency in the menu on the left to access the customer management. Here, click on the subaccount for which you want to change the settings.

  3. Open the Settings tab in this overview.

  4. You have the following options under Available templates:

    Standard templates

    You can deactivate the standard templates if you make your own templates available to your subaccount
    (see Create a template for Subaccounts at your Agency Account).
    Standard elements Deactivate this function if you have stored your own elements (agency elements) for your subaccount (see

    Newsletter Editor: Deposit your own elements in the account).

    Agency elements Deactivate this function if your subaccount should only use standard elements (see Newsletter Editor: Deposit your own elements in the account).
    Dynamic elements This function enables your subaccount to include RSS feeds or articles from integrations (e.g. Drupal) in your newsletter (see Newsletter Editor: Insert Dynamic Elements & RSS Feeds via Element in Your Newsletters).
    New editor Specify whether your subaccount should only use the New Editor (see Newsletter editor: Activation of the editor for subaccounts).
    Fallback old editor Activate this function if you want your subaccount to be able to switch between the two editors (see Newsletter editor: Activation of the editor for subaccounts).

Activate/deactivate additional functions (Premium agency)

There are further functions that are available for agencies with a premium rate:

Content Generator:
Subject lines

Activate this function to enable your subaccount to use our AI and to support the generation of subject lines (see Using Content Generator AI in CleverReach - General operation).
Content Generator:
Email content
Activate this function to enable your subaccount to use our AI and to support the creation of email content (see Using Content Generator AI in CleverReach - General operation).
Mailing templates:
Editable
By activating it, you enable your subaccount to edit templates via the source code.
Mailing editor:
Full HTML editor
Your subaccounts can use this function in the newsletter editor to display the mailing as source code so that they can make changes directly in the code:
Profile management Activate profile management for your subaccounts to simplify the management of recipient data (see Creation of a preference center).
Note on the DKIM obligation on the dashboard Switch the DKIM obligation notice on or off for your subaccounts (for more information, see the article Set up DKIM).
