Create and edit subscription forms (beta)

Subscription forms allow your website visitors to sign up for your newsletter and receive regular updates and information from you. You can easily create and customise subscription forms. This is how it works:

Create new registration form

  1. Log in to your CleverReach account and click on Forms in the menu on the left.
  2. Click on the Forms tab (Beta) and on Add form in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Click on the Continue button under Subscription in the following pop-up window.

  4. Decide whether your registration form should appear as a own page (landing page) or whether it should be embedded on a website.

  5. Enter a name for your form, select a recipient list and click on Create.

  6. With both options, you can customise your form in the editor with our elements and design templates. We explain which elements are available to you there and what functions they have in more detail in our article elements for creating forms.
  7. When you have finished creating your form, click Continue at the top right of the editor.

Edit existing form

  1. Log in to your CleverReach account and click on Forms in the menu on the left.

  2. Click on the Forms tab (Beta) and, if a form already exists, click on the three dots ••• > Edit on the right.

  3. You will be redirected to our editor, where you can use elements for editing on the left:

  4. When you have finished creating your form, click Continue in the top right-hand corner of the editor.

Check and correct your registration form settings

After creating the form in the editor, you can view a summary of your form in an overview and edit individual steps. You can subsequently change the form name, copy the link for publication or customise the registration steps.
Under Advanced settings, you can make further adjustments to make your form even more effective.

Customise the registration steps

  1. Below the registration form overview you will find a sequence of automatic steps that are run through when registering for the newsletter. You can customise the steps if you wish.

  2. The steps are structured as follows:

    Step 1 Subscription New recipients enter their details on this page in the form to subscribe to your newsletter.

    Step 2 Notice


    After submitting the registration, new recipients will see this notification page.
    Step 3 Opt-in-e-mail New recipients will receive this e-mail to confirm their registration by clicking on the link in accordance with the law.

    Step 4 Confirmation

    New recipients will see this page after confirming their registration.
  3. Click on Edit to customise the respective step.
    If you would like to customise the design for each step, you can deactivate the automatic transfer in the design settings:

Edit advanced settings

  1. Click on Settings at the top right of the overview and select Advanced.

  2. The advanced settings are now visible.

  3. You have the following options:
    Subscribe Multiple registration possible
    Recipients can register multiple times with one e-mail address.
    First filler tag Tags are automatically attached to the recipient as soon as step 4 of the registration process has been completed
    Domain The domain is visible in the link to the registration form
    List New recipients are saved in this recipient list
