Creation of a preference center

A preference center, also known as profil management, enables your recipients to manage their preferences and interests with regard to the newsletters they receive.

This means that your newsletters can be better tailored to the individual needs of the recipients, as they can make their own settings.

You can customize the profile management form with reference to topics, frequency of delivery, type of information (e.g. offers, product news, articles, events) and other relevant categories.

To create a corresponding form:

  1. Log in to your CleverReach account and click on Recipients > Preference Center in the menu on the left.

  2. Click on the Add Preference Center button. This takes you to the editor where you can customize our standard template:

  3. You can choose between input fields, checkboxes and drop-down menus. For the type, you should enter a data field that you have either already defined in advance for all lists (e.g. when importing your recipients). If you have not yet created any data fields, take a look at our article Using your own data fields in recipient lists.

  4. Click Continue to save your form. Your profile administration is now complete. In this overview, you can change the name and copy the link for publication. If you click on the link, you can see a preview of your profile management.
