Newsletter Editor: Use and customize templates

A successful newsletter often starts with an appealing template.
In this article, we'll show you how to make the most of our newsletter editor to customize templates for your email marketing campaigns to get your message across effectively:

Create and use your own template

You can store your own HTML templates in your account.
These can be saved in the template management or uploaded during the creation process of your mailing. To use your own templates, use the CleverReach template technique.

Selecting a template from the catalog

To help you design your email, we provide you with a variety of templates in our catalog with which you can start creating easier and faster:

  1. Select the Emails section from the left menu and click the Templates tab.
  2. You can see an overview of your own templates under My Templates and our Template Catalog in the right tab.
  3. Pick a template from the catalog that fits your needs best (e.g. on the topic of product promotion, newsletter, birthday or Black Friday).
  4. When you click on a template, a preview with a short description and a Select button will appear. Click the button as soon as you have found the right template in the list.

You can customize your previously selected template via the Design tab on the right:

We provide several color-coordinated themes. But you can also insert your own HTML HEX codes to customize backgrounds and text colors.

You also have the option to customize the font and size for the entire mailing. To do this, click on Text at the bottom right and unfold the available options:
